Jenny Avendaño: Love spending time with my wonderful family. When I am not reading comic books or classic literature, I am overanalyzing shows and movies, or hunting for Funko Pops and comic books with my beloved husband and children. I must absolutely say my love of Pop Culture stems from being a parent... I particularly enjoy horror, romance, Latin American culture, and strong female representation in books, art, music, and cinema. Enthralled by the zombie tradition of George A. Romero as a social critique but am always a sucker for a good Disney flick with my loves... Meanwhile, George Lucas has me reading Joseph Campbell, my interest is sparked by villains. Particularly, what in a character's psychology, environment, and overall persona causes them to be enamored by darkness?
